Big planes and oversized trucks…

SOSAM recently had the chance to visit the Penang International Airport.

How was it? NOT as fun as I expected but quite interesting. At least it’s better than getting your hands dirty, as an addition, it’s quite informative too. Disappointing at the same time we didn’t get to go to the big control tower…:(

The best is always the last isn’t it? We had a chance to ride on one of those huge and expensive fire trucks.

TA~DA…

Fire trucks which costs them around 3 million each…even the tyres cost 15k each…wow…(how many D3x and D3s are there??)

Hey you better bet on these guys you know…they’re the ones that will keep your asses kicking when your planes catch fire…

Woo check out those buttons…NOT as many buttons as expected…but there were four phones???

and a big red one…*like that red phone you see in Powerpuff girls, where the mayor would use to call the girls*

An Air Asia plane taxing, waiting for clearance to take off…

Before taking off, the pilot would communicate with the control tower and all you would hear in their conversations are things like alpha bravo charlie delta echo foxtrot golf hotel bla bla bla and whole lot of alien numbers…

At 200mm focal length(above) vs 55mm focal length(below)… woo taken from same distance…

This plane just landed…

What’s a trip without a group photo. :)

Well…the next time you take a flight…remember that these are the guys that will be watching you…LOL well for safety reasons i mean…

Boomz my toys

Oh ok…this is not a huge post of ALL my toys…

Just one of my most ‘pattern-ful’ toy at home…

Whee…

My optimus prime again…

Got a new Phottix Aster last Friday. Excited…

It’s quite good for eliminating stupid background shadows and at the same time don’t want to overexpose the foreground…

you know…pop up flash…commander thingy?

DSC_4741

OK I know the words at the background looks really weird isn’t it. But it’s just nice for taking pictures. All you need is an old styrofoam container…of course a big one…

Boomzzz…ok next…

Another year gone by…

I remember it was always around this time of the year. Yea, Theresa’s birthday…

Always so special and pattern-ful. I have to say since like F4? I’ve been to her birthday party but I seldom manage to get the location right.

It was just last year that we were talking about buying DSLRs and stuff. And today…we have 4 DSLRs in our group already. wow…

Anyway…just a quick update.

Location this year: Bayview Beach. Time: Late evening.

Of Birds and Bees?

Owning a 55-200mm is just great.

Doing nature shots with this was very, extremely fun indeed.

with focal length of 200mm? you could stand far away enough, well so that you won’t scare those animals away. HAHA, isn’t it?

DSC_3992

Look, you see there’s a heart shape.

DSC_3998(2)

Butterfly with two heads…? DUHH, Camouflage…LOL

DSC_4001(2)

OK, another way to edit your pictures instead of tweaking those mind boggling, meaningless numbers, graphs and all sorts of somehow useful but seem useless things to you, is to simply copy your picture into Photoshop. Click ctrl-J on your background image, and select overlay blending for that copy, Voila there you have it, well saturated, high contrast or whatever the crap people call them(well I don’t care as long as the pictures are great.)

DSC_4027

Someone said this butterfly looked like an owl?? Hmmmm…….I guess it does.

A house with a backyard or garden is really syok betul. There’s so many things that you can photograph. Lots of weird looking fauna and stuff…LOL

DSC_3984

LOL, the bird looks very behshiok-ing. You see somore it shakes its butt butt…

DSC_4037

HAHA, the hibiscus also very emo.

DSC_3640

Yup, that’s just another typical morning for the animals and insects and plants in my backyard.

I swear, NO zombies here.
