Appetizingzz…

One day before the release of our SPM results was our last day for our 1st assessment. We headed out to relax and ease our minds from the excruciating torture of our so-called simple test. 1st stop: dim sum at Maxims. I didn’t had much, wasn’t feeling hungry. Liang Sun was there as he was also released  a day before.

Then we went to Gurney Plaza for a movie. We managed to watch this weird combination of comedy and violence altogether but somehow seemed brilliant. Wheeee….it was also my 1st 18 and above movie and most important legally. The movie was called From Paris With Love.

The FIRST thing that came to mind when I saw it was chopped with a “18sg” and the word “LOVE” was that this movie is so going to be, you know, something erm…sexy? And oh my, was I wrong. It wasn’t the hugging and kissing and making love, it was actually the brilliant script that made the show sex-ful in a way that it was more of being SAID instead of SHOWN. Why is that so? The only main vocabulary that actually made it to the script was, I QUOTE “FUCK YOU” UNQUOTE, QUOTE again “MOTHERFUCKER” UNQUOTE. And this went on for the whole bloody 1 and a half hour. The cast was John Travolta which made the show rather funny in a way. Storyline was alright and simple, for me that is. The producer was very good in creating suspense, there were these scenes that actually made you think (either naughty or nice, it all depends). Quote “I’m not ready yet”, while taking off shirt and skirts. I can remember this scene in particular as while the villain whatever the girl’s name was, was stripping, my little friend, Qi kept blocking my eyes. LOLz…and the scene where there was blood on the floor leading into his home and all that, it was just wow.

But before we went for the movie, our little team of dizzyfied and confused altogether, friends went for lunch at Xuan Xin, the little restaurant right beside Sakae’s, which I have never discovered before. The place was rather comfy and welcoming, well the most of all is that you don’t need to raise your hands and your voices to call for the waiters and your bloody bill.

Some chips to go with while you wait for your meals. It cost, what, 2 bucks? or something.

We ordered a set lunch for four as it was cheaper that way. It came with a soup of the day in which it didn’t actually made my day. It wasn’t chicken soup, not mushroom soup, wasn’t any vegetable soup, it was like rotten beans and stinking meat added into the soup right from last night’s leftovers or some sort. It smelled terrible. One look and you know it’s yucky.

OK, there was broccoli with oyster sauce, black pepper pork chop, clay pot tauhu and that reddish sauce meat dish (whatever the name was) yea, kou lou yok. This meal was one of the tastiest food I have ever tasted. Like seriously.

f.y.i, I don’t eat tauhu. :P

After that, we went home to prepare ourselves for the next morning, that is the day we took our SPM results.
